Missions Outreach is an exciting part of the DNA of Lake Ridge Bible Church! Many people are directly or indirectly getting the Gospel out, discipling new believers, and training new leaders. Several serve overseas in Latin America, Europe, the Middle East and Asia. Others have ministries based in the United States, ministering to high school and college students, military families, Jewish people and Hispanics in this country and Mexico. Some work in vital support positions in North America, and those who live in the area also serve in various ministries right here at Lake Ridge.
LRBC has a Missions Committee to guide the Lake Ridge family into a sustained awareness and commitment to missions, to keep in touch with those we have sent out, and to oversee global outreach from the church, As you get familiar with Lake Ridge, feel free to get in touch with the committee and its members, All of our missionaries and their contact information is listed in the church directory. Help us be a church that ministers locally and reaches out globally to a world in need!
Lake Ridge missionaries have almost all been a part of the church for some years prior to going into overseas ministry, so they are well known and prayed for by the Lake Ridge family. Each year in October, we have an exciting Missions Conference when the missionaries who are home on furlough, or otherwise available, visit home teams, and minister at lunches and dinners and in the Sunday services and classes.
Short term missions of one to two weeks are held each summer and at other times during the year. Both youth and adults are encouraged to take these trips that give the participants a more global perspective. Our pastoral staff travels annually to visit one or more of our workers overseas, frequently ministering along with our supported workers.
Please contact the missions committee via email at: firstname.lastname@example.org. The committee typically meets the first Tuesday of each month in B111 at Lake Ridge Bible Church.
