Missions outreach is an exciting part of the DNA of Lake Ridge Bible Church!

LRBC has a Missions Committee that guides our church family into a sustained awareness of and commitment to missions, keeps in touch with those we have sent out to serve, and oversees global outreach from the church.

Each October, we host a Missions Conference where our missionaries who are on home assignment or are otherwise available visit with those from our church in both small and large group settings to share about their ministries.

Most of our missionaries have been a part of the church for some years prior to going into ministry, so they are well known and prayed for by the Lake Ridge family. If you would like to receive updates from our missionaries, sign up here to receive Missions Update emails.

You can find out more about our missionaries by visiting our LRBC Missionaries page.

If you are interested in finding out more about Missions at LRBC, please email the Missions Committee. They typically meet on the first Thursday of each month from 7:00-9:00 p.m. in B111. Meetings are open to everyone.

The Missions Committee wants to shine a light on people within our church who volunteer with local ministries as well as local and worldwide ministries that are supported through prayer and finances.

Short-Term Missions

Short-term missions of one to two weeks are held each summer and at other times during the year. Both youth and adults are encouraged to take part in these trips that give the participants a more global perspective.

Members of our pastoral staff travel annually to visit one or more of our missionaries overseas, frequently ministering along with them.
